Programs/Partners

Tennessee Partnerships for Success and TN Technical Assistance Program is funded by SAMHSA/CSAP through TN Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services. These programs provide training, technical assistance to identified counties and support goals.  By providing these services, they allow the identified counties to improve prevention services in their area, which in turn, builds the capacity of the community and state to provide greater prevention services.

Tennessee Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (TADEC)-Statewide alliance of public and private organizations, established to develop and provide curriculum that enables first responders to develop written protocols for situations where children are exposed to hazardous materials due to drug use, manufacture, and/or sale.  Funded by Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Criminal Justice Programs, and TN Department of Military/National Guard/DDR.

Tennessee Crime Prevention Coalition (TCPC)-This program is currently funded through fee for service.  TCPC was developed to provide leadership for Crime Prevention by building partnerships in which communities can share resources, provide training and educate the public.  One of the primary goals of TCPC is to provide outreach and education to special populations at high risk for victimization.

The TN Campus/Community Coalition Project is funded through the US Department of Education. The Tennessee Campus/Community Coalition Project (TCCCP, pronounced tee’-sep) will build the network of key stakeholders and their capacity to target the nexus of college campus with community to reduce 30-day alcohol use and 30-day binge drinking among under-age students at participating IHEs.  TCCCP will focus Community Anti-Drug Coalition’s (CADCAT’s) existing member-network of campus/community coalitions, local community anti-drug coalitions and state partners to bolster comprehensive, data-driven efforts to target this problem.  It will support existing and build new campus/community coalitions, bringing the expertise of public and private state-level partners to create population-level change through community-based process and environmental strategies, while promoting a no use message to students under the minimum legal drinking age.
