Evaluation

If you are utilizing our IRB, please follow the instructions below.  

1. Submit a Letter of Intent five (5) business days prior to sending your application.  Please submit your Letter of Intent via email at irb@cadcat.org.  The Letter of Intent must have these items:
   1. Who you are
   2. Contact information
   3. Date you plan to submit
   4. When you need approval
   5. Simple subject matter – i.e. Underage Drinking
2. Submit completed application via email at irb@cadcat.org.  This document must be submitted in a Word document.  You will receive a notice that your application was received. 

Please be advised that our IRB meets Quarterly, and the sooner that you can get your document sent in to the IRB, the more time they will have to give you approval.  Those dates will be on the website's calendar.  Once you receive approval from CADCAT’s IRB, you will have one year before your application will expire.  If you plan on continuing your research with this application, you will need to submit a new application each year.  If you receive approval from our IRB, it will only be for the items that are listed on the application that you have submitted.  Any other items that you have added to the research will not be covered by our IRB.  You can resubmit a new application with your changes, and have the IRB approve your new application.
